Michael Bennett

Michael BennettMichael Bennett was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois in October of 1975 and shortly thereafter moved to the wild west town of Tombstone, Arizona. He grew up in southern Arizona as the only child of a single mother and loved her dearly. Michael attended Buena High School in Sierra Vista, Arizona and graduated in 1993. He later married his wife, Bridget and now have a total of 7 kids which includes 6 daughters and one son and range from 17 to 2 ½ years old.

For quite some time, Michael lived a life like there was no God for him. He soon realized that he needed to reconnect with God and made it his mission to do so. His mom raised him in the church and he finds himself very blessed because even in the midst of years of addiction, and a life full of squandering and self-seeking her prayers and the words of God always rang true to him. Like the prodigal son he eventually returned to Him and was embraced with his love.

His ministerial training has been different from many people. At the end of the long dark road of addiction, he found a light in the Union Rescue Mission. Michael was clean but needed more. He was able to complete a program there at the Rescue Mission and shortly after became a deacon at Harvest of Hope Assembly of God in "skid row" Los Angeles, California. He headed up the Servant Leadership ministerial training program at the mission while he completed an internship there, and led the praise and worship for weekly services. He preached the gospel several nights a week and saw the miracle of recovery and healing through God's grace and His amazing mercy.

In 2003, he made the move to Denver, Colorado and became the youth pastor at Mile High Free Will Baptist church in Northglenn. He currenlty resides in Parker, Colorado with his beautiful family and attends Southeast Christian Church in Parker.

"I believe that we serve a God that blesses, loves, and heals"
